Meter Stay, RC36-2, RC30 Style JDM Spec Headlight

This lightweight laser cut steel stay is designed specifically to mount the TYGA RC30 style fairing BPFU-7049 onto the RC36-2 and faithfully reproduces the style and shape of the original RC30 one. E-coated black for a tough and long lasting finish, this meter stay is designed to be fully compatible with an NC30 instrument cluster which simply bolts on to the mount by means of two Honda bolts provided.

Also provided in the kit are three spacers which can be used to move the instrument cluster forward or back for optimum clearance with other components depending on the set up of the bike it is installed to.

Note too, that other instrument clusters can easily be installed using this meter stay and for customers using the early SC28 CBR900RR instrument cluster, we even offer product TYLY-0317E-A andTYLY-0317E-Bwhich are the required plates to directly mount  early and late SC28 instrument clusters to this product and you can view or order these mounting plates here and here. For  Euro/US Spec Headlight TYLY-0348 and TYLY-0348W .

In addition to the instrument mounting bolts, hardware to mount the meter stay to the frame and cable ties are included with this product.

This meter stay is designed to mount our JDM style upper cowling and as such it has a headlight mounting plate is designed for use with period JDM RC30 headlights or other models from that period such as NC23, NC29 and NC30. For mounting larger or non JDM model headlights, we don’t have any information or experience installing and strongly recommend fitting of the JDM headlights (either original Honda or aftermarket if you can’t source the Honda ones, though note that that to install the headlights you will also need the Honda black square plastic mounting (part numbers 33105-MR8-000 & 33155-MR8-000) as well as bolts and other hardware which is not included with this product.
