Here’s what Denny (who works for VHM special racing products) has to say about his project:
I bought the bike 3 years ago, as these bike are not offered very often. Then started stripping the bike, and the goal was to make it as new and original possible with below list of Tyga parts. The rims where painted 2 different blue colours. I have powdercoated the wheels in white as original, the frame in silver, painted the radiator, galvanizing almost all bolts and nuts, rebuilded the brakes.
Changed the timing of the cylinder by using cylinder base gasket. Therefore needed custom inserts to match the different piston height. Rear shocks are from Wilbers Suspension and the front fork is fully adjustable with Adreani cartridge kit.
I used the following Tyga parts:
Tyga Exhaust system, side by side with carbon shorty silencers.
Tyga carbon silencer hanger stay
Tyga stepkit and Tyga carbon heel/ brake guard
Tyga carbon front fender
Tyga carbon rear hugger/ rear chain guard, Tyga carbon front cahin guard
VHM heads + custom inserts
Next things on the list to change:
Quick throttle
Different CDI and powervalve controller
Repaint the cowling, as the front cowling has been cracked
