- stainless steel exit end cap and nozzle
- cartridge glass wool insulation for greater longevity
- lightweight: weighs just 0.5kg
- Silencer is designed with a built-in sealing ‘O’ ring and stainless steel bolts and washers are provided
VHM Insert Aprilia RS125 (11.50cc)
This insert has a lower volume / higher compression ratio than the VHM standard insert, meaning more low and middle range torque. This improves acceleration and gives an increased torque feeling when exiting corners. However, keep in mind that this compromises top speed.
The insert fits the OEM Aprilia RS125 cylinder head perfectly and is easy to change. It can also be used with VHM head cover AA33190
- Volume: 11.5cc
- Piston Height: 2mm
- Squish: 1.4mm
As is the case with any power upgrade, it is important that you make adjustments to the carburation as necessary. The dyno graph shown had the jetting adjusted one size leaner on the main jet and one clip richer on the needle for optimum performance. However, you will need to adjust your bike’s settings according to your ambient condition. If in doubt, start with a rich setting across the range, and lean off as required. Failure to correctly set up the carburation could result in engine damage.
