Set, Switch Gear, Winker, Assy. RC36-2, RC30 Style

To update and improve the look of the RC36-2, RC30 Tribute,  we recommend fitting our TYWH-0009 Switch Assembly, Winker, product  This switch gear is not directly compatible with the RC36-2 wire harness, so we have designed harness extension TYWH-0011  that simply plugs inline between the winker switch gear and the RC36-2 main harness, with no modifications to either the switch gear connections or the main RC36-2 connections required.

Note that this set has only been tested on the RC36-2 in the RC30 Tribute spec. It will not fit the standard RC36-2 due to connector positions, wire lengths etc., without additional modifications.

Please see the fitting instructions for the routing of the wires and the extension harness. Note that this is only relevant to the RC36-2 when fitted with our RC30 Tribute bodywork kit and wiring.

Switch Assy, Winker Functions:

• The main headlights can now be switched off, unlike the standard RC36-2. However, the small running lights in the NC30 headlights used in the RC30 Tribute kit remain illuminated permanently due to being on a different circuit.
• Note that due to the standard RC36-2 wiring, the taillight will stay on permanently when the ignition switch is ON. Only the headlights are turned on and off with the switch gear. The tail light is unaffected by the switch position and will be always on.
• The ‘OFF’ and ‘P’ positions of the headlight switch have the same function. The headlight is off.
• With the headlight in the ‘H’ position, the headlight is on.
• The turn signal switch works as normal.
• Hi-Lo switch works as normal.
• The clutch switch works as normal.
• The horn switch works as normal. *Please see fitting instructions on special grounding required for the horn.*
• Passing the light switch is an additional function that is not available on the RC36-2 standard switch gear. Flick the switch for momentary high beam.

Also note If using this TYWH-0015 switch gear on your RC36-2 RC30 Tribute build, or just as a replacement for the original RC36-2 switch gear, then please note that this switch gear does not allow fitment of the OEM RC36-2 choke lever. You would need to use an alternative method for actuating the choke, such as using TYPP-0033 choke cable and BPSY-0353 Stay, which could be mounted in a convenient position.
