Bringing a Honda VFR400R NC35 Back to Life
What began as a neglected motorcycle with extensive corrosion, sun damage and mechanical issues became a rewarding restoration project over the course of a year.
After addressing numerous mechanical, electrical and fuelling problems, rebuilding the suspension and brakes, and refreshing the overall appearance, the owner decided to replace the original fairings with TYGA’s endurance-style bodywork.
The build was further enhanced with a selection of TYGA components and a KOSO RX-2 dashboard, combining a distinctive racing-inspired appearance with practical upgrades.
Now running and riding beautifully, the bike is a testament to the owner’s dedication and attention to detail. One of the highlights is TYGA’s full exhaust system, which offers a manageable sound level around town before delivering the unmistakable V4 howl above 7,000 rpm.
