Dean's Honda NSR250 MC18
It’s been a while, but I remember mentioning that once I finished the bike I would send you some nappies and you sounded vaguely interested. I finished it probably a month or so ago and have had it out a few times since then. Just been really busy… So here they are. I have done two meets – done OK for a old fat bastard (less fat than when I started, down to 82kg – from 102kg in April) who last raced 20 years ago. Yesterdays meet I won a tyre (Pirelli super cross SC1, which is the best prize I have ever got racing!), although there is a bit of a funny story to it.
Anyhow, here it is. You know what Tyga bits I have – the main other thing of note is a Maxton RT10 rear shock and Maxton SD20 front for internals. Costly, but money well spent, the bike handles beautifully. Running an MC21 rear wheel for modern rubber – I am on the lookout for a good set of lightweight wheels, so if you know anyone who has some or who makes them, please let me know. Unfortunately they have to be standard size, no 3.5” fronts as I run in a proddy class.
