This race air box with air filter eliminator has a larger and longer inlet than stock to allow for greater airflow and better breathing including ram air effect. Unlike other similar products available, as well as the modified inlet, this air box increases the volume by 8% overstock for more stable performance. Uniquely, among aftermarket suppliers.

This product includes the BPAC-9009 Air Filter Eliminator, which replaces the standard air filter assembly, allowing maximum airflow when used with the TYGA Race Air Box. Like the original air box, this TYGA product retains the correct base profile to ensure an effective seal when installed.

Note: this is a pure race air box and is designed to be used with no air filter. Setting up of the carbs will be required. The HRC setup manual recommends #152 in the rear bank and #142 in the front bank. However, this is of course in conjunction with a full HRC carb kit which is no longer available. We recommend to start with main jets of approx. #160 front and rear and jet from there. Be prepared to make jet changes to get optimum performance. Stock needles may need a 0.5mm shim under them to richen them up a little. The #35 slow jets are what the HRC setup manual recommends.
