The TYGA T8 Fairing compliments our existing RC211V style upper fairing in our current line up for the MC22 CBR250RR. It can be bought as part of a complete body kit, or just the upper fairing and associated parts (headlight, screen and meter stay) Like the previous upper fairing, this product is designed to fit to a totally stock MC22 with minimum changes and retains the original Honda mirror stay and mirrors. It can also be installed with stock Honda lowers or Tyga ones made to the same design. As part of our MC22 bodykit comprising of upper fairing BPFS-0017, lowers, BPFL-9025 and BPFL-9125, passenger seat cover BPFX-9125 and front fender BPFF-9001, this kit will totally transform an MC22 from an early 1990s design to something which is something bang up to date.

The fairing is designed to be stylish and functional and provides good wind protection for maximum performance and comfort. The headlights can be ordered with built-in turn signals or without depending on the customer’s preference. An optional, tint or dark tint screen can be ordered for no extra charge and the fairing is supplied with under nose air ducts. To allow for ease of fitment and to avoid compromising looks, a replacement meter stay is provided which will also freshen up the appearance if the existing one has been in accident or starting to corrode. An optional stock shape mirror stay TYLY-0036 can also be ordered for the same reasons though this is not included in the price of the Tyga T8 Fairing kit. Customers can choose to add this to their cart depending on the condition of the existing one on their bike.

The bike is shown painted in a simple scheme using an OEM Honda candy pink. It has almost chameleon qualities depending on the light and changes tone from pink, to mauve, to red. The pink is accented with a flat black belly pan and the front of the tail section also painted flat black.

Although this kit is very competitively priced, it is made of the best quality components. The fairing is made from epoxy resins and high quality cross weave mat, hand laid up to a very high standard both inside and out. The panel is delivered sanded and primed with minimal preparation required before painting. The headlight is a modern multi refractor lightweight plastic type, the meter stay laser cut and all fasteners needed to mount this kit are either supplied or utilise existing ones from the MC22 for a hassle free installation.

For those owners who want to enhance the looks and the performance of their CBR250RR further, Tyga Performance provide a wide range of other products dedicated to this model such as the bolt on silencer ( EXSL-0016) shown in the photos which as well as the obvious enhanced looks, gives a deep and satisfying howl which would fool most people into thinking this bike was a lot more than a 250. Well, until the throttle was opened to 18,000 whereby the sound is more reminiscent of a F1 car than a superbike. We also provide brake lines, carbon covers for the tank filler cap and the instrument surround and a carbon option for the front fender.

The MC22 is a very capable motorcycle and is built to a much higher specification than most other newer learner* models for the same budget. With this kit installed, not only will it look way more impressive than the alternatives, but it will rival many larger capacity sportsbike for attention wherever it is ridden.
